The story: Pettus’s athleticism and pressure were too much for Nordheim’s young team. The Eagles full-court pressed during the first half very effectively, and Pettus’s depth was also a factor (all fourteen Eagles who were suited up got significant minutes throughout the game). In the second half, Pettus dropped back and played a mix of man and zone half-court defenses. All 14 of the players suited for Pettus scored. Pettus’s next game is Friday at home vs. Charlotte.
