The Sabinal Laady Jackets had a great season, but it’s Falls City that will be moving on to the 1A Division I regional quarterfinals with their 50-40 victory over the Lady Jackets.
Sabinal student writer, Lauren Rios may have been the smallest player on the floor but was undoubtedly the toughest as she was not intimidated by the much taller Beaverettes.

Coming next Monday and Tuesday, the UIL 1A, 2A, and 4A State Marching Festival will be coming to the Alamodome.

It was Homecoming night at Karnes City High School …
… but Falls City crashed the party with an impressive 25-6 win over the Karnes City Badgers Friday night in non-district action. Falls City, ranked in the Top 10 statewide in 1A, moves to 5-0 while the Badgers fall to 4-1 heading into district play next week.
