Hello Panther Fans!

Our Medina Valley Panthers got off to a slow start, but came back with a winning attitude after halftime to take a 63-28 victory over the Boerne Greyhounds.  Quarterback Adam Stein had a terrific first game with 21 carries for 148 yards, scoring four touchdowns. Safety Jared Foster had the most tackles. Riley Groff had two great interceptions for the Panthers.  And kicker Lucas Recio had a great game as well.

"The game was great,” said Bradley Gonzalez. “We were down going into the half, but then came out with our heads on straight.  All of the fans that came out for our first game of the season were greatly appreciated."

Football players and cheerleaders from the Medina Valley Class of 1961 came out to participate in a pre-game celebration of 50 years of Medina Valley Panther Pride.  This was very nice to see these individuals welcome our boys onto the field to play their first game of the season.

They will now take on the Marble Falls Mustangs Friday in Marble Falls at 7:30pm, looking forward to another great win.  We wish the football players and staff all the best as they make this journey. Let's go Panthers, ‘Break the Mustangs’!
