Tomlinson scores with 2.31 seconds left in Fredericksburg’s 38-36 win
If you’d told Fredericksburg coach Tim Kaman before Tuesday’s game that Boerne’s defense would limit his top three scorers to 11 points total, he would have gulped.
Fortunately for him, his fourth leading scorer, sophomore Tyler Tomlinson, scored 18 points, including the game-winning basket with 2.31 seconds left to lead Fredericksburg to a 38-36 victory over the Boerne Greyhounds Tuesday night at Greyhound Gym.

Boss twirls one-hit shutout in 6-0 victory over Fredericksburg
Dylan Boss’s brilliant pitching and an opportunistic offense put the Boerne Greyhounds back in first place in their 6-0 victory over the Fredericksburg Battlin’ Billies Friday night at Greyhound Field.
Boss (7-1) needed just 100 pitches to dispose of the Battlin’ Billies. He struck out 15, walked none, and hit two batters. The only hit he gave up was an opposite field single to left by Mark Rodriguez. Tyler Ransleben hit a grounder to third with two out in the seventh that glanced off Dalton D’Spain’s glove into left field; the difficult play was ruled an error. Boss struck out 9 of the last 12 batters he faced. Fredericksburg batters hit only seven fair balls against Boss; Ransleben’s grounder was the only fair ball Fredericksburg hit after the fourth inning.
